This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who is eager to advance their career in corporate law within a dynamic and growing practice.The Norwich Corporate Team has seen significant growth over the past five years and is now seeking an ambitious solicitor to contribute to its continued success. The team has also gained external recognition for its expertise, having won prestigious industry awards for excellence in business services and notable corporate transactions.Role Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Solicitor, you will play a key role in supporting a wide range of corporate transactions, including:

  • Assisting in company sales, mergers, acquisitions, private equity deals, and joint ventures
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key corporate documents such as share purchase agreements and shareholder agreements
  • Conducting legal due diligence and preparing reports
  • Advising clients on corporate governance and company law
  • Supporting senior solicitors and partners in complex corporate matters
  • Preparing and reviewing board minutes, resolutions, and Companies House filings
  • Conducting legal research and staying updated on corporate law developments
  • Collaborating with other departments (e.g., commercial, employment, banking, and property) on multidisciplinary matters
  • Participating in business development initiatives, including writing articles and attending networking events

About You:

We are looking for candidates who are Newly Qualified (NQ) to 3 years PQE and demonstrate:

  • The ability to manage straightforward transactions independently while seeking supervision for more complex matters
  • Strong legal knowledge and the ability to apply corporate law principles effectively
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse legal information critically
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-focused approach
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset
