Are you looking to develop your career within legal?

Our client are seeking a team assistant to join their team in property. 

The Role

As an Assistant in our team, you can expect a varied workload. Alongside general admin duties, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and career by providing absence cover for others in the team.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be:

  • Assisting with incoming and outgoing mail
  • Managing the filing for the teams, including archiving, destruction, and retrieval of files
  • Storing and retrieving documents, scanning to database, and photocopying
  • Handling day-to-day telephone enquiries, taking messages, and assisting both internal and external clients where you can
  • Typing letters and documents for both teams when necessary
  • Preparing forms and paperwork necessary for client files
  • Carrying out any reasonable duties as may be directed by other members of the firm
  • Ensuring all communications are recorded on the client files and case management system

Knowledge, skills, and experience required

We would like you to have:

  • 3 ‘A’ levels or equivalent
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Courteous and efficient telephone manner
  • Good time management skills
  • Good keyboard skills and accurate data entry ability
  • The ability to display empathy to our clients
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team playing skills
  • Honesty and integrity
