Our client has a vacancy for a motivated and proactive Paralegal to join their Private Client team.

The Private Client team specialise in advising families and business owners on their wealth and succession arrangements. This is a great opportunity to develop your legal skills and knowledge within a growing, experienced and mutually supportive team.

You will be working on a broad range of matters including:

* Wills and estate administration

* Powers of Attorney

* Trust Administration

* Estate Planning

* Court of Protection work

Day to day duties would include:

• Draft correspondence, documents and letters of advice to clients under supervision• Draft and complete basic legal documents and forms with limited supervision• Liaise with clients by telephone and email• Research legal issues on behalf of other fee earners• Taking responsibility for administrative tasks such co-ordinating administration of seminars.• To assist with the team’s business development activities• Prepare document bundles for fee earners as required• Attend clients both in person and on the telephone as requested by the fee earners• Be involved in the efficient management of client/matter files to include general filing, file opening, preparation of client care letters and terms and conditions, file closure and archiving• Taking messages about initial advice queries and passing on to the relevant fee earner• Attend meetings and take notes as required• Undertaking any other duties as required

We are looking for you to have the following skills and qualifications:

A Law Degree or previous experience working in a private client teamGreat working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and ExcelExcellent communication skillsStrong administration skills and real attention to detailA people person that is approachable and works well as part of a team
