We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation within our warehouse and logistics function. This role involves providing leadership and management to a team of warehouse operatives and administrators, taking ownership of development and change projects, and actively participating in Health & Safety management. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the Resource Plan, including Holidays, Sickness, Cover, Overtime, and Temporary staff needs.
  • Supervise all warehouse processes daily, ensuring accuracy of paperwork for each process.
  • Oversee the FTL Drivers and Administration team.
  • Train, develop, and coach staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Maintain the ORCASCAN system for stock integrity.
  • Deliver the Service Level Agreement for each customer.
  • Liaise with external warehouses (3PL) regarding space constraints, customer dispatches, and return loads to site.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Technical departments around HELD stock and ensure procedures are followed by the warehouse team.
  • Manage raw material requests from production and update QAD (WMS) accordingly.
  • Investigate incidents and customer issues (NCR).
  • Provide support and guidance for the transport department.
  • Manage data flow relevant to other departments such as Finance and Sales Technical team.
  • Monitor the Daily Process Master issued by Sales and provide feedback when needed.
  • Support the Inventory department with WHS resources during stock take.
  • Act as the warehouse contact for support required from other departments.
  • Oversee and action all Feed and Regrind transactions.
  • Plan and evaluate daily and weekly workloads.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing teams within a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in managing change and delivering projects.
  • Proficiency in using WMS or ERP systems.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Forklift Truck Counterbalance license (beneficial but not essential).
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
