Job Title: Electronic Design Engineer

About The Role:
As the Electronic Design Engineer you will develop analogue and digital electrical circuit designs and solutions to support development of a wide range of class leading equipment.
The successful candidate will primarily work on analogue and digital hardware design but may also work on wiring design for interconnecting systems.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Designing the electrical and electronic solutions for defined requirements
- Components/parts selection and evaluation
- Generation of test, interface and supplier documentation
- Assisting test department in initial first of class (prototype) testing
- Authoring reports, giving presentations and meeting with clients and management
Person Specification:
To be a successful candidate for this role you must be able to demonstrate the below attributes and skillsets:
- HND or a degree in Electrical Engineering or demonstratable experience in a related engineering field.
- Experience of circuit design, simulation, layout, testing and evaluation for prototypes and production units. Knowledge of PCB layout software is highly desirable.
- Ability to design wiring interconnection systems.
- Ability to create interface and equipment specifications.
- Ability to create test specifications for designs, testing and to support interdepartmental testing of equipment.
The working hours are Monday-Thursday 8:15am- 5.00pm and Friday 8:15am- 12:45pm.
