Job Title: Structural Design Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000
Location: Norfolk, NR1 - You will only be required in the office 1 day per week!
Are you a forward thinking Structural Design Engineer with 3 - 8 years experience? Alexander Associates are currently working with a growing construction builder that are looking to grow their Norfolk office with a Structural Design Engineer that has knowledge of structural steelwork and frames. Our client design and deliver complex structural steel solutions in the form of foundations, low rise and high rise buildings.
A growing pipeline of work heading into 2025 has created a necessity for them to bolster their structures team with a Structural Design Engineer that shares their passion for engineering excellence.
The Structural Design Engineer will be part of a highly skilled team of Engineers and Draftsman delivering mission critical projects across the business. You will have full support for both your personal and professional development including a detailed career plan and assistance with Chartership.
Responsibilities/experiences as a Structural Design Engineer:
- Design and analysis of structural components for a range of projects
- Work with all common building structures materials, preferably steel
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure project success
- Working with the team to further expand and develop the clients solutions
- Attend design meetings when required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant Structural Engineering degree or equivelant qualification
- 3 - 8 years engineering experience
- Proficiency in structural design software i.e Tekla Structural Designer
- Excellent communication skills
