Contract: Ongoing (Temporary)

Hours: 8.00am-5.30pm

Pay: £15.50p/h

Office Angels National Accounts are looking for a candidate to provide on-going support to their client in Norwich. As medical secretary you will report directly to the hospital director, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and strategic support tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate efficient working of the Hospital Director by undertaking a wide range of delegated administrative and secretarial tasks.
  • manage the flow of work including telephone calls, correspondence and reports through the HD's office and follow up any actioned as required.
  • Enable rapid access to relevant past correspondence, papers and documents by maintaining a well organised filing system.
  • Support collation of information and timely submissions of regular reports.
  • Maintain an accurate record of discussions held at specified meetings by minute taking and production
  • Ensure that the Hospital Director maintains realistic working patterns and enable them to attend all meeting on time with good diary management and organisation of travel arrangements. Support the maintenance of consultant database to ensure accurate/up to date records are kept for all consultants with admitting rights.
  • Support secretary when required , in correspondence to ensure consultant compliance with maintaining their admitting rights.
  • Produce and disseminate communication material for the HD Organise events e.g medical society AGM, MAC new year dinner, annual hospital party withing budget provided and to a successful standard.
  • coordinate and support annual satisfactory survey.
  • Assist the HD in establishing and maintaining good relations with all internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all corporate and local policies are read by the HD Ensure mandatory training is completed in a timely manner by the HD
