Are you an Electronics Technician from a Marine background looking to join a company that service some of the largest commercial vessels in the world, whilst offering great benefits?

This small company have been around for over two decades and provide equipment around the UK and overseas to a wide range of commercial vessels. Specialising in electronics such as radars and ECDIS' - the specialised team of mechanics have a wide range of capabilities.

This role will see the suitable candidate install and service brands like Sperry Marine and Danelec electronics on a range of vessels. With an average of 75-100 days travel, the job takes its engineers all around the UK and occasionally overseas. The right candidate should demonstrate a willingness to travel for work.

The Role:

• Install, repair and maintain onboard electronic systems such as:
  • Radar
  • ECDIS
  • Voyage Data Recorders
  • Satellite Communications
  • GMDSS HF & VHF radio systems
• Travel around the UK and occasionally overseas to perform the above works
• Liaise directly with clients on site, providing clear details on issues and work that needs to be completed with an estimated timeframe
• Speak with the office team based in Hoveton and update them on progress and potential setbacks

The Person:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Full UK Clean Drivers Licence
