About the Role:We are seeking two Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team at Carlton Court, Laurel Ward. This is an exciting opportunity for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) or Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to provide high-quality care in an inpatient setting.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the ward, ensuring smooth operations and a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients.
  • Provide direct patient contact, offering support and guidance as needed.
  • Medication management, ensuring the correct administration of prescribed treatments.
  • Completing and reviewing care plans and risk assessments to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Liaising with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and external agencies to coordinate care and ensure patient needs are met.
  • Supporting patients with aspects of daily living, including manual handling and personal care.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
  • Current NMC registration.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
