The business is in a period of growth and innovation, focusing on the strength of the Jarrold Brand to widen their portfolio across Norfolk.Reporting to the People Director and part of theshared services team this is a newly created role Jarrold Group and will be based at the beautiful St James Mill in Norwich.   • Working alongside the People and Culture Manager to manage the implementation and compliance of all people related policies and ensure these are aligned across The Jarrold Group.
  • Guide and support managers and colleagues on employment law, employment relation issues and HR policy and HR procedure.
  • Advise and support managers on recruitment and onboarding.
  • Promote and drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the business.
  • Manage organisational changes including restructures, acquisitions, and TUPE transfers.
Partnering with department heads, managers, and business MDs across The Jarrold Group you will:
  • Understand key challenges in each business and how the People and Culture Team can support these.
  • Support the delivery and regular review of people plans and the people strategy.
  • Identify and implement training, and learning and development initiatives to support performance, career development and progression.
  • Support strategic workforce planning initiatives that focus on the present and future needs of the business.
  • Pro-actively promote and support inclusive work environments and practices across the Group.
About you:I am looking for a business partner who is qualified to CIPD level 5 (or and equivalent qualification) who can demonstrate strong HR generalist experience. This role combines both operational and strategic level working, and we would be looking for the successful candidate to evidence this from previous roles.
