We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Administration to join our clients, an ever-growing independent mortgage practice in Norwich.
This pivotal role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in mortgage administration, coupled with proven experience as a supervisor or team leader. As the Head of Administration, you will oversee and enhance their administrative operations, and manage a team of administrators ensuring the seamless support of our mortgage advisors and the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.
The successful Head of Administration will be offered:
- £28,000 - £30,000 Basic (Depending on Experience)
- Monday to Friday 9 am – 6 pm
- 20 days + Bank holidays (Your Birthday off if it falls on a working day)
- On-site Parking
Head of Administration Requirements:
- Previous Mortgage Administration experience is desirable.
- Previous experience managing/supervising a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word and outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Head of Administration Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of administrators.
- Assist the team with telephone calls to mortgage lenders, solicitors, insurance providers and GP’sto obtain the latest case updates and report these back to the corresponding mortgage advisors.
- Keeping internal records updated-Handle queries from Mortgage Advisors / Estate agents and Managing Directors.
- Additional duties in busier periods, including producing marketing materials to send externally toreferrers.
- Assisting with keying mortgages up until submission of the application.
- Allocating referrals to Mortgage Advisors and liaising with Estate Agents.
- Providing weekly and monthly updates to Estate agents.
- Assisting the Managing Directors with ad-hoc duties when required
