We are seeking a proactive and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients office in Norwich city centre. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of office efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is operating smoothly.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and manage correspondence including answering phones, sending emails, and sorting mail.
- Coordinate space planning and office moves, as well as manage office upkeep and maintenance.
- Manage office budget and expenses.
- Organise office events, meetings, and employee team building activities, leveraging your experience in events management to enhance these functions.
- Implement office policies and procedures, and ensure they are followed by staff.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including setting up workstations and onboarding sessions.
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services.
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or Administrative Manager.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Competitive salary £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.
