LED and Lighting Technician

Our client based in Norwich is currently seeking a skilled LED and Lighting Technician to join their team

This is a full time permanent position based in Norwich, working Monday to Friday.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Expertise in LED technologies, wiring, control systems, and fixture repair, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Proven experience in LED lighting installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and control systems (DMX, DALI, 0-10V, etc.).
  • Experience with soldering, fixture assembly, and LED module replacement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with lighting software and control systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure LED lighting systems, fixtures, and controllers for various settings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair LED fixtures, drivers, dimmers, and control systems, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Safely wire and connect lighting systems to power sources, adhering to electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Set up and program DMX, DALI, or other lighting control systems to achieve desired lighting effects.
  • Inspect and test lighting equipment to identify and resolve issues, ensuring consistent performance.
  • Work with designers, engineers, and clients to meet project specifications and lighting needs
  • Follow electrical safety guidelines and industry standards to prevent hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot lighting systems for various applications, event, and entertainment lighting.
