Quality Inspector
Contek are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy and established company in Norwich. This role would be ideal for either junior or experienced inspectors looking for a company that offers progression and an engaging work place.
You must have experience as an inspector to be successful in your application as we need a good understanding of engineering principles and how to navigate a drawing.
Responsibilities;
- First off, in process and final inspection of components using primarily manual inspection methods
- Use ofcalipers, micrometers, slip gauges, height gauges, plug & ring gauges, depth gauges, thread gauges, surface finish measuring equipment
- Using a CMM to inspect components
- Work to drawings where you work with close tolerances
- Ensure customer quality requirements are being met.
Experience required;
- Experience using manual inspection methods.
- Ability to work to engineering drawings.
- Familiar with CMM or ability to learn it quickly.
- Can work as a team or individually off your own initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills.
The hours are as follows;
Monday to Thursday
08:00 - 17:00
Friday
08:00 - 13:00
Overtime is available in this position.
