Your new role:

  • To ensure all PPM, statutory and reactive tasks are issued to the engineers and completed in the required delivery to Contract KPI & SLA. Ensure comprehensive records are maintained & in date. Be accountable for the day to day running of the contract, managing equipment, delivering extra work and projects.
  • Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager on all PPM, reactive & Subcontractor work. Act as point of contact for nominated Subcontractors.
  • Ensure appropriate control systems are in place to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
  • Ensure a customer focus on all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts. Liaison with client management & health and safety team. Manage meetings, actively seek feedback to ensure exceptional customer delivery service.
  • To ensure timely planning & delivery of site maintenance and other long term contractually committed work to meet contract programmes.
  • Support peaks and troughs in workload, and disaster recovery.
  • Working with the Operations Manager to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team work, and support to colleagues. Managing some financial aspects of the contract.
  • To ensure all Statutory Compliance with and record keeping for CBRE ISO: 9002 & ISO: 14001 Quality Management System: 18001
  • Report incidents & accidents that may require action in compliance with the company's Disciplinary & Grievance policy. Ensure business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract. To ensure all operations comply with QH&S and all statutory requirements.
  • Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both client and Company health and safety policies and processes are effectively implemented across both CBRE Managed Services and subcontractor activities and are regularly reviewed.
  • To develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and client's staff. Able to complete all Engineering team Appraisals & Personnel development plans.
  • To control the logbook systems, undertake pre-audit checks and monthly reporting.
  • Overview staff training and holiday, reporting to the Operations manager.
  • Oversee the contract support and helpdesk teams, ensuring all processes are adhered to, review process regularly looking to implement any improvements. Undertake training, appraisals and be the first point of contact.
  • Undertake regular team meetings and toolbox talks, review hazard reporting.
  • Ensure all appropriate PPE, tools, and equipment is present and in good order to undertake roles. Reporting to the Operations manager, keeping logbooks and documentation up to date.
  • Attend contract review, monthly and quarterly meetings as requested.
  • Undertake and attend training and development courses as required, keeping records updated and reporting to the Operations Manager.
  • On call rota escalation from the engineering team.



What you'll need to succeed

  • A good general education is essential. A time-served apprenticeship in the building services industry is preferable.
  • Must be tidy and organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments
  • IT literate (MS Suite)
  • Good experience and demonstrate a good knowledge of managing subcontractors.
  • Leadership skills
  • Must be willing to work and be available for long hours when required to meet the demand of the contract delivery.
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Electrical qualifications
