On behalf of my client, I am seeking an exceptional Press & PR Manager to join their busy Press Office based in Norwich. This is a rare opportunity to enhance the client’s reputation and profile, making it a dream role for a dynamic and passionate individual eager to be at the forefront of media activities.

Annual Salary: Excellent – commensurate with experience

Location: Norwich

Job Type: Full-time. (Please note this is a fully office-based role. Therefore, there is no hybrid working)

Day-to-day of the role:

Proactively sell stories to journalists, producers, and editors.

Occasionally appear on-air to communicate the brand and unique data to a broad audience.

Build upon and establish new trusted relationships with UK journalists.

Research and write press releases and content.

Be on-air and report back to the business about coverage received and successes.

Serve as a spokesperson for the brand, handling both proactive and reactive media relations in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in Journalism, PR, or a related field, or hold a relevant professional qualification.

Significant hands-on experience in press and public relations

Strong track record of developing networks of journalistic contacts.

Experience in dealing with broadcast, consumer, and trade print, and online media.

Ability to communicate key messages simply and effectively.

Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Ability to work under pressure, manage several priorities at once, and meet tight deadlines.

Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic with a drive for achieving media coverage.
