Our client based in Norwich is seeking a proactive Buyer to join their team. In this role you will ensure that all goods and services are sourced at the lowest overall costs whilst meeting project delivery. 

The role will involve, assisting the Purchasing Manager, monitoring and planning UK stock levels, raise and monitor purchase orders, collating technical documentation, manage the companies pricing matrix, Create and manage the internal cost calculator, handle SADs and other import/ export requirements, review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, build and maintain relationships with suppliers. Liaise with the supplychain team. 

Experience: 2-3 years in a purchasing role.

Skills:

  • Highly organized and extremely attentive to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

The company offers excellent working conditions, free parking and hybrid working. Hours are Monday to Friday. The role may involve some travel to suppliers.
