Our client based in Norwich is looking for a Purchasing Assistant for an initial 3-month period, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
The role involves processing purchase requests into purchase orders via phone, email, and online, as well as assisting end users with supply problems.
Candidates should ideally have at least 1 year of purchasing experience and a good knowledge of purchasing procedures.
Attention to detail is crucial for this position, which also includes dealing with queries from external suppliers and general departmental administration.

This is a Purchasing Assistant position

Processing of purchase requests into purchase orders via phone, email and online

Creating orders

Assist end users with any supply problems and advise where products can be purchased from

Dealing with queries from external suppliers

General departmental administration

Idealy you will have 1 year purchasing experience, good knowledge of purchasing procedures as well as high attention to detail
