Your new company

Our client is a national contractor who specialises inCommercial projects predominantly in leisure, healthcare, education andDefence sector's. They work across private and public sectors and currently havea growing pipeline of works due to commence in the East of England.

Your new role

You will work alongside the commercial project teamassisting on all commercial aspects of the project, providing commercialsupport and maintaining commercial information, and ensuring compliance with the contractual requirements. You will assist with monitoring contract progressagainst the agreed programmes, control costs against agreed budgets/end costforecasts, prepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts, prepare,and agree any necessary claims for reimbursements and for loss and expense andwill liaise with the customers and third parties on all commercial matters. Asa quantity surveyor, you will be aware of any potential implications for dispute resolution and also contribute to development of appropriatequality, health and safety, welfare, and risk management on site.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced quantity surveyor with some experience of working on large commercial schemes (over 10m) and hold a BSc or HND in a commercially related discipline.
