Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our clients growing team based in Norwich. As they focus on the future, they are looking to employ an individual who is capable of growing their sales pipeline, offering their services across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

You must have a background within Engineering Sales/Business Development, ideally selling services over product, but we are happy to consider both. This a full time, remote/field based role.

Key Duties:

  • Winning new and profitable business opportunities across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire by promoting the companies capabilities and services.
  • Once new customers have been won, the role will evolve and develop into managing, retaining, and growing accounts.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Understanding of manufacturing, repair, and precision engineering is a massive benefit within this post.
  • Identify areas and businesses that will potentially bring in business, create and maintain relationships within the same field in your designated areas.
  • The ability to deal with customers from small machine shops to large corporations.
  • Motivated and driven individual.
  • Able to use Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in selling within engineering, ideally selling company services over products but as listed we are happy to consider candidates with the right background.
