The Role

As a Trainee Finance Assistant, you will support our finance team in various day-to-day tasks while receiving comprehensive training and mentorship to develop your skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a solid foundation for a career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry.

  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.

  • Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements.

  • Communicating with suppliers and clients to address financial queries.

  • Assisting with administrative duties as needed.

About You

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals with the following qualities:

Essential:
  • A strong interest in finance and a desire to learn.

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable:
  • No previous experience is required. The individual will be trained on each of the

    tasks listed below and will assume responsibility for these as and when they have

    been given the training and support required to enable them to take

    responsibility.

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role (not essential).

  • Knowledge of accounting software or willingness to learn.
