We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Sociology Teacher to inspire and educate our students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality sociology lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to foster their academic growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching sociology.
- Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance educational practices.
- A degree in Sociology or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching sociology at the secondary school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring students.
