Showroom Manager – Norwich

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced Showroom Manager for a well-known car dealership company in the Norwich area.

How does the day-to-day look?

  • To develop a sales performance culture where targets are exceeded, and poor performance is pro-actively managed. To act as a role model for departmental best practices to inspire this culture within all team members, clearly defining roles, targets, standards and expectations.
  • To maximise every profit opportunity by enforcing the Sales Process.
  • To ensure all customer leads are dealt with logged and followed up efficiently and effectively in line with company’s policy.
  • Ensuring that all Sales team members are proactive in carrying out their role as a minimum requirement.
  • To be aware that company is authorised and regulated by the FCA and that only employees who have completed and passed full FCA training may advise on or undertake any regulated business; if you have not passed the training you are not permitted to do so. Employees who are FCA trained are required to read, understand and comply with all FCA related policies and procedures, which may be in force from time to time.
  • Be aware of and respond to current market conditions and competitor trends.
  • To inspire, support, coach and lead the team to maximise their potential.
  • To build relationships and collaborate with all departments and company’s group businesses.
  • To carry out any other additional related tasks as required by the Company from time to time.
  • Pro-actively promote the company and their products.
  • Ensuring all transactions are completed in line with company policy.
  • Always maintaining showroom and display standards.
  • Deputising for the Sales Manager where required.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in managing and motivating a sales team to exceed targets, while managing performance and setting clear expectations.
  • Knowledge of the Holden Sales Process, ensuring leads are logged, followed up, and managed efficiently in line with company policy.
  • Understanding of FCA regulations, ensuring only FCA-trained employees engage in regulated business and adherence to all policies.
  • Ability to stay updated on market conditions and competitor trends, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Strong coaching skills to support and develop team potential while promoting collaboration across departments.
  • Ensure all transactions follow company policies and maintain showroom standards.
  • Actively promote Holden Kia and build positive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Willing to take on additional tasks as required, including deputizing for the Sales Manager.

Schedule: 5 day working week (inc. weekend working on a rota)

Salary: £30,000 basic – OTE £50K
