Opportunity Overview
Our client are looking for a Section Engineer to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing contractors. This position is perfect for those seeking a supportive yet ambitious environment with clear pathways for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a section of works on a prominent energy project.
  • Set out all types of civil engineering works and clearly communicate project requirements to the team.
  • Manage quality control and develop an effective Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
  • Work closely with the site agent to ensure that projects are properly planned and resourced.
  • Take charge of temporary works, ensuring they are designed and executed safely.
  • Mentor and support other engineers within your team.

Key Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proficient in setting out all civil engineering works.
  • Capable of creating and implementing ITPs based on drawings and specifications.
  • Experienced in completing procurement schedules and take-offs.
  • Hold a CSCS Card relevant to the role.

Desirable:

  • Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
  • Training in HSG47 Service Avoidance (Cat/Genny).
