SEN Teaching Assistant – Quidenham - Easter
A specialist school in Quidenham is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a structured and nurturing environment, helping them develop confidence, independence, and key life skills.

They are looking for a patient, proactive, and enthusiastic individual with experience working with ASD who can contribute positively to the learning and development of students.
Role Details:
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Quidenham
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Salary: £103 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with ASD.
- Assist in delivering structured and personalised learning activities.
- Support students in developing social skills, communication, and emotional regulation.
- Help manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN specialists to tailor learning approaches.
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with children with ASD in a school or specialist setting.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) – essential.
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting students with additional needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to support student progress.
- A passion for inclusive education and helping children with SEN thrive.
