Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Procurement Controller to join our client's dynamic team at their Head Office near Norwich

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement within a monthly budget
  • Update purchase orders and monitor stock levels
  • Ensure stock value and availability are optimized
  • Monitor stock due dates and chase suppliers as needed
  • Update order dates in our IT system
  • Reconcile supplier delivery notes and invoices
  • Enter purchase invoices into our accounts system
  • Handle supplier delivery discrepancies and arrange returns
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Communicate delivery delays to our Customer Services Team
  • Assist the Customer Services Department during busy periods and holiday cover

Desirable Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in financial systems such as Sage or SAP
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in supply chain logistics and finance
  • Excellent time management skills

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • 25 days holiday per annum (5 reserved for Christmas shutdown) plus all England bank holidays

Experience:

  • 3 years in procurement (preferred)
