We are seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to provide cover and deliver across a range of Building Services courses. This role is ideal for individuals with significant vocational, industrial, or commercial experience in the construction sector, who are passionate about imparting knowledge and skills to the next generation of professionals.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Electrical Installation within the Building Services curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials, ensuring alignment with course objectives and learning outcomes.
- Assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and vocational development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry and integrate this into teaching materials and methods.
- Participate in curriculum development activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of course content.
- Engage with students to inspire and motivate them in their studies and future careers.
- Level 3 qualification or above in Electrical Installation or a related field.
- Significant vocational, industrial, or commercial experience in Electrical Installation within the construction sector.
- Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
