Hays are excited to be working with a progressive and forward-thinking law firm in Nottingham city centre who are hiring an experienced legal cashier to join their growing team.
Your new role
Banking and cheque productionManaging Client and Office transfers
Handling credit balances
Overseeing deposit account facilities
Processing electronic bank payments, including foreign exchange transactions
Reconciling bank statements
Calculating interest
Direct credit into bank accounts
Posting, uploading, and paying supplier disbursement invoices
Managing disbursement transfers
Addressing general queries both internally and externally
Performing general accounts duties and other tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
Previous cashier experience in the legal sector is advantageous but not essential.Some level of accounting experience is required.
High accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules is preferred but not essential.
Strong team player with a 'can-do' attitude
Excellent client care skills
Compassionate and level-headed approach
