Management Accountant (with FP&A Experience) - Nottingham – reduced working week£50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)We are recruiting exclusively for a fast-paced, and rapidly growing company based in Nottingham. With an ambitious growth agenda and a collaborative culture, they are looking for an experienced Management Accountant who also brings strong FP&A skills to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a business that values initiative, insight, and innovation.The Role:You will take ownership of the management accounts process while also supporting strategic decision-making through financial planning and analysis. You will be working closely with senior leadership, providing data-driven insights to drive performance and shape the future of the company.Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Partner with department heads to provide financial insights and challenge assumptions.
  • Support strategic planning and scenario modelling.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and reporting processes.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements as the business scales.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
  • Proven experience in management accounting and financial planning & analysis
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
  • Commercially savvy with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is highly desirable
