Management Accountant (with FP&A Experience) - Nottingham – reduced working week£50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)We are recruiting exclusively for a fast-paced, and rapidly growing company based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a business that values initiative, insight, and innovation.The Role:You will take ownership of the management accounts process while also supporting strategic decision-making through financial planning and analysis. You will be working closely with senior leadership, providing data-driven insights to drive performance and shape the future of the company.Key Responsibilities:

Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Partner with department heads to provide financial insights and challenge assumptions.
Support strategic planning and scenario modelling.
Maintain and improve financial controls and reporting processes.
Contribute to system and process improvements as the business scales.

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
Proven experience in management accounting and financial planning & analysis
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
Commercially savvy with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is highly desirable
