• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting in the preparation of corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
• Supporting senior accountants with client meetings and financial reporting
• Handling VAT returns and bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Assisting in the preparation of audit files and performing basic audit fieldwork
• Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing feedback
• Working closely with clients to ensure timely delivery of services and advice

• ACA/ACCA part-qualified or studying towards qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice
• Experience in preparing accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team and provide mentorship to junior staff
• Strong IT skills, including knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
