Our client, a forward-thinking, academy trust is looking for an experienced office administrator to join their already busy team on a temporary basis initially with a view to go permanent for the right candidate.

If you can provide confidential and administrative support to a busy academic office, are flexible and forward-thinking with a strategic mindset, this role is for you.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

  • Current or previous experience in an administration environment
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Broad mindset with the ability to analyse data
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with others at all levels

The ideal candidate will have proven administration experience. You will be an excellent communicator and be very organised. Having experience within an educational setting would be advantageous. Undergoing or having a DBS check is a must due to the nature of the role!

Within this position, you’ll also be:

  • Supporting the school to enable it to comply with policies and procedures.
  • Working as part of a wider team
  • Managing the internal databases and keeping them upto date with accurate information & details
  • Promoting the company and sharing any posts on social media
  • Answering any queries via telephone, email or face to face
  • Supporting the company with any events & ensuring these are advertised appropriately
  • Booking of appointments, meetings & events
  • Greeting any visitors as necessary
  • Answering incoming calls, taking messages where needed and passing these onto the relevant person/department
  • Typing of letters & other documents
  • Photocopying, scanning, printing, filing & archiving of documents
  • Carrying out any ad hoc duties as required

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £16,942 - £18,426 per annum dependant on experience

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 30 hours a week doing 6.5 hours a day including ½ hour lunch break.
