Teqniq is searching for a Operational Resource Planner to work in the public sector.

3 months contract.

Job Description:

Working hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm are standard hours but we operate within a flexible working structure Worker type: Hybrid - a mixture of office and home working is to be expected, with an average of 3 days per week in the office.

Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office systems. DRS/Console/NEC or other similar housing management and planning systems would be useful.

Tasks include;

  • Co-ordinating appointments/or works packages on a daily basis from start to finish.
  • Daily diary scheduling for numerous trades colleague/contractors, producing supplementary documentation as required such as works specification orders.
  • To deal with all unavailable appointment periods by re-organisation of work to other trades colleagues/contractors and negotiation with tenants as required.
  • To monitor, maintain and update electronic/manual appointment diaries to ensure effective management of appointments and ensure target/timescales are met.
  • To deal, on a daily basis with emergency jobs, non-appointed tasks, variations, follow-on jobs, carded, cancelled and suspended jobs, making sure relevant systems are updated.
  • To effectively plan, organise, allocate and alter appointments for trades colleagues/contractors through the appropriate process or system, reporting progress/performance to the line manager.

Skills, Knowledge and experience required:

  • Proven experience of coordinating, managing and maintaining appointments and diaries of large teams within a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
  • Administration experience.
  • Working with computerised and manual office systems.
  • Communicating directly with members of the public.
  • Working to tight deadlines and key performance indicators.
