My client a national leading law firm in Nottingham is recruiting a part time legal PA to join their business on a permanent basis working in their real estate's team.

Hours of work will be Wednesday to Friday 9 - 5.30pm.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Client Care: Handle basic client queries, manage document production, and client-related calls.
  • Scheduling Support: Coordinate meetings, interviews, and training with clients.
  • Database Management: Update client and business development information.

Administrative:

  • File Management: Open/close files, monitor compliance, and manage engagement letters.
  • Event Planning: Organize internal/external events, seminars, and conferences.
  • Support: Aid fee earners in business development and CRM maintenance, manage diaries, and assist in tender processes.

Communication:

  • Relationship Maintenance: Key point of contact for fee earners and clients.
  • Correspondence: Monitor and respond to emails, draft responses, and handle phone calls.
  • Support Colleagues: Assist immediate colleagues and other departments as needed.

Financial:

  • Billing: Assist with client/event billing, manage complex billing, and handle financial transactions.
  • Time Allocation: Review and update time allocation and disbursements.
  • Expense Management: Manage expenses and related finance administration.

Processing:

  • Priority Management: Ensure deadlines are met, manage client data rooms, and maintain client/matter data.
  • Compliance: Handle online applications, searches, and compliance with firm policies.

Customer Service:

  • Team Meetings: Arrange and attend meetings, liaise with fee earners, and provide consistent updates.
  • Assistance: Regularly offer help and maintain exceptional client service.

As part of the Legal Support Services team, you would be expected to have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in a legal or professional services environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • An aptitude for producing documents and client communications of the highest standard
  • Advanced knowledge of document management/case management systems

Benefits include:
