Travel: Regularly to East Midlands HQ and UK travel to clients as necessary, occasional international travel

Established company operating in the S2P (Source-to-Pay) / Procurement / Purchasing Software sector is looking to recruit an experienced Software Pre-Sales Consultant. You will combine subject knowledge with technical expertise to demonstrate S2P solutions to prospects and customers whilst supporting Business Development during the pre-sales process.

Key tasks/Duties

  • Provide technical assistance during the pre-sales process by understanding customer requirements and designing solutions.
  • Be the solution expert on video / conference calls and face to face meetings.
  • Perform solution demos for the sales team.
  • Tailor demos to customer requirements.
  • Respond accurately and promptly to customers.

Competencies

  • Experience of working face to face with prospects and customers.
  • Be resilient, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate solutions to prospects and customers confidently.
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Have the ability to explain technical specifications and product functionality to C-Suite executives.
  • Willing to travel.

Essential Experience

  • 2/3 years minimum experience in either a previous software pre-sales role or a role with basic understanding of the S2P cycle.
