- Undertaking and planning property maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner as part of the schedule of works / task list
- Overseeing and supervising works undertaken by the maintenance team
- Travelling to various sites around the UK to carry out routine maintenance and repairs including painting and decorating, plumbing, flooring, roofing, welding, joinery, bricklaying and concreting
- Undertaking work in accordance with H&S, Company risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
- Assisting in the development of any new property acquired by the Company
- Providing support to the Facilities Manager with property reporting and prioritising
- Regular overnight stops and travel around the UK will be required.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by the business
- Proven experience and high level skills in property maintenance
- The ability to self-manage and pursue continuous improvement
- To have a good all round range of general property maintenance, building and problem solving skills
- To have a well natured and flexible approach
