This project will explore the feasibility of both purchasing and developing a system, ensuring alignment with the clients enterprise architecture and strategic objectives. They are looking for the right ERP framework to use and it must be scalable, adaptable, and efficient so that it supports operational excellence, aligns with enterprise TOGAF architecture principles, and meets the specialised needs of the business through clearly defined processes and unbiased solution selection.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop a design matrix linking business processes, capabilities, and functional requirements.
  • Assess the fit and feasibility of ERP solutions against requirements captured
  • Develop Options Papers with a minimum of three technology options per functional area.
  • Provide a Decision Matrix comparing solutions based on functional fit rather than cost alone.
  • Ensure alignment with TOGAF phases, including Information Systems Architecture, Technical Feasibility, and Solution Options Analysis.

Experience required

  • You must have previous experience in similar ERP assessments, so have hands on knowledge of a range of ERP systems. Good Business Analyst skills, producing functional requirements knowledge of TOGAF, design matrix, stakeholder relationship skills, workshops.
  • A general technical background would help and you will need to be self motivating/managing to get this work done.
