Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business transformation?

We’re seeking a Strategic Business Partner to join Digital Technology within Energy Infrastructure Solutions (EIS). In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define and execute a clear digital strategy that maximizes value and aligns investments with EIS objectives.

You will lead a team of analysts, navigate complex stakeholder networks, and champion innovative change initiatives that enhance our operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior/executive stakeholders across EIS, ensuring alignment between business teams, product owners, and managers for smooth coordination of ongoing and new initiatives.
  • Provide strong leadership in setting up and delivering complex programmes, ensuring projects meet agreed budgets, timelines, and quality expectations while offering clear progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead Business Change initiatives, guiding communication and readiness at every stage of the delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment between EIS and DT priorities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Head of EIS Technology and stakeholders to assess the viability of new initiatives, driving innovation and simplifying technical content to ensure value delivery to EIS solutions and propositions.
  • Oversee and articulate budget spend, ensuring investments align with value levers and drive cost reduction initiatives to support the business unit profitability and growth.
  • Act as a role model for E.ON's values, promoting collaboration, adaptability, and inclusion, and driving the adoption of new ways of working that maximize value and contribute to the overall success of the business.

What we need from you

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, effectively navigating challenges, and managing third-party partnerships in line with commercial agreements.
  • Good understanding of project/programme delivery, governance, DevOps, CI/CD and Testing processes.
  • Technical knowledge with a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse, multi-disciplinary team, with experience in matrix management
  • and working with offshore resources.
  • Passion to meet and exceed service / delivery KPI’s
  • Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise information that is easily understood by key stakeholders.

It would be great if you have

  • Agile knowledge: Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence
  • Project management qualifications: ITIL/PMI/PRINCE 2
