Duties of the Governance Manager
- Providing support to the CEO and Exec Team
- Meeting the Governance responsibilities
- Ensuring the regulatory and governance responsibilities, ensuring that all standing orders, policies, and procedures around governance are met
- Acting as the Data Privacy Manager for the organisation
- Providing administrative support to ensure the upkeep of the Risk Register and to act as the Company Secretary.
- Enabling the smooth running of meetings, including preparing and distributing papers, room bookings, providing refreshments, meeting, and greeting external visitors etc.
- Providing training for all staff on Compliance issues and evaluating the impact of data breaches
Requirements for the Governance Manager are:
- Undertaking a similar role of servicing committee meetings, dealing with regulatory bodies and maintaining formal company records.
- Relevant PA or secretarial experience in an office environment
- Comprehensive experience of complex minute taking.
- Understanding of governance processes.
- Experience of a good level of expertise in software applications i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Publisher and Power point.
