Area Support Chef - Healthcare, Nottingham £32k plus mileage

Our client prides itself on being a 5* care home group with a genuine passion for customer care and providing the highest service for the residents in every site.
Working as part of the support team, this role will be covering a number of sites across Sheffield, Cheshire, Birmingham and Lincoln. All of the kitchens produce high quality, freshly prepared food for residents and staff as well as families for special occasions.

As the Area Support Chef, you will be
* able to manage all aspects of the kitchen including staff, costings and budget control
* producing freshly cooked food using seasonal ingredients as well as adapt to dietary requirements
* communicating with residents, families and staff so an empathetic nature is essential
* managing your diary and time accordingly

Working hours are 5/7 days, 40 hours per week
Mileage is paid

To be considered as a candidate, you will be
* a Head Chef/Chef Manager and have held this role for a minimum of 18 months
* ideally have B&I, restaurant, hotel or health care experience
* able to produce high quality, freshly prepared food with great presentation
* self-motivated and adaptable
* financially astute and able to work to budget and manage costings
* communicative and liaise with residents families and staff in a professional manner
* have a good positive attitude and an empathetic manner
* be flexible, willing with a positive can do attitude
* have your own transport
