Business Development Manager | £45,000-£55,000 Basic | OTE £80k+Permanent | Hybrid | Nottingham Based | Electrical Lighting BackgroundMonday-Friday | 8.30am-5pm Cherry Professional are recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a Nottingham based business to help achieve their growth ambitions, this role will suit someone with an Electrical background.Key details:
  • To generate profitable new business in line with the overall market strategy
  • To develop opportunities to increase revenue generation with existing customers
  • To ensure a planned approach to customer management, protecting existing revenue, relationship building and customer retention
  • It is anticipated you will spend c.80% of your time on business development, generating new, profitable business
  • It is expected you will spend c.20% of your time managing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building strong relationships
  • To sell the company’s services and products to ensure the achievement of targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and overall business objectives
  • To generate prospects, follow up leads, attend meetings, develop quotations, and convert quotes into new business
  • To ensure that the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and any other systems utilised by the company are maintained with up-to-date information
  • To work closely with business directors to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Input on reporting, forecasting, planning and market intelligence plus new business initiatives
  • To provide market intelligence to the management team on competitor’s activity and new business opportunities
  • To work closely with the Marketing Team on developing marketing initiatives to generate new business

  • Business development: 2+ years
