The Role: What You'll Do as a Digital Trading Manager

As a Digital Trading Manager, you will be at the forefront of their digital growth, taking responsibility for maximising sales across all the digital platforms. You will:

  • Define, own, and execute a winning digital trading strategy that drives revenue, utilising your expertise in digital planning and analytics.
  • Take full ownership of digital sales performance, working across teams to ensure commercial targets are met and surpassed.
  • Manage the end-to-end trading process, from daily operations to strategic campaign execution and brand promotion, in collaboration with the digital marketing and optimisation teams.
  • Drive on-site performance by improving conversion rates, customer engagement, and overall site KPIs.
  • Analyse key business drivers and provide in-depth insights on trade performance, creating action plans that ensure continued growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute a fascia digital trading calendar, delivering timely, relevant promotions and content.
  • Utilise data and analytics tools (Google Analytics, BI, Excel) to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with the UX and optimisation teams to enhance the customer journey, and ensure that all campaigns and promotions align with business objectives.
  • Ensure that our SEO strategies are supported by evergreen and seasonal content, helping drive customer engagement and increase conversion.

About You: What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital trading and e-commerce, with a track record of driving commercial success in the retail or consumer brand sectors. You will be:

  • Experienced in digital trading or e-commerce, with at least 3 to 4+ years in a similar role.
  • Confident using multiple analytics tools (Google Analytics, BI, Excel) to track performance, and able to report findings clearly and concisely.
  • Skilled at creating and executing financial plans, building digital business cases, and forecasting key digital metrics.
  • An effective communicator, able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, influence decision-making, and drive results.
  • Adept at interpreting data and finding innovative solutions to improve performance and increase revenue.
  • A strategic thinker with an eye on the competition, always looking for ways to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Familiar with e-commerce platforms and experienced working in high-growth, scalable environments.
