Job Title: Security Project Engineer

Location: East Midlands

Job Purpose:
Play a vital role in shaping the final detailed design and ensuring the successful delivery of projects to agreed quality, time, and cost criteria.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager (PM) and Technical Design Department in finalizing detailed project designs.
  • Assist the PM with:
    • Factory Acceptance Tests
    • Project procurement tasks
    • Project planning and implementation
    • Project execution and site works
    • Health & Safety management during the construction phase
    • Monthly progress report preparation
    • Site Acceptance Tests (where necessary)
    • Customer communications throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with subcontractors on project works and commissioning tasks.
  • Assist in delivering product training for implemented systems.
  • Prepare Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation with drawing office staff.
  • Oversee the handover of completed projects to the Service team.

Education & Experience:

  • Experience in integrating and testing complex multi-faceted security systems.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific standards and NSI Gold standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Microsoft Project and Visio is desirable.
  • Minimum HND/BTEC in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrable experience in the security industry.
  • ECS card holder and SSSTS qualification.

  • Intruder Detection Systems: e.g., Honeywell
