A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Surveyor to join an established team. This is an ideal role for a skilled professional looking to contribute to exciting projects and provide ongoing support to clients across a variety of sectors in the UK.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of buildings in sectors including education, commercial, and industrial to assess their condition.
Identify and diagnose building defects, such as structural issues, damp, and fire safety concerns.
Provide detailed reports on building conditions, recommending necessary repairs and maintenance.
Advise clients on the suitability of building materials, construction methods, and renovation plans.
Provide expert guidance on compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Oversee and manage construction or renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure properties comply with local building codes, planning regulations, and health and safety laws.
Advise on planning applications and building permits
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and offer recommendations

Key Skills and Experience:

At least 3 years of relevant experience.
BSc in Building Surveying or a similar qualification, or equivalent experience.
Practical understanding of commercial property.
Experience within the education sector is desirable but not essential.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic approach.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proactive and able to work independently.
Full UK driving licence.
