Job Title: Estimator - Retail Fit Out

Location: Commutable to Nottingham Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus
Benefits: Car allowance (£5,000 per annum), pension, phone, laptop & 25 days annual leaveThe role of Estimator - Retail Fit Out will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with design, build & fit out projects primarily dealing with petrol filling stations and service stations
- Interpreting technical drawings and generating quotations / tenders
- Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Producing formal quotations to clients
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
- Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Working on projects ranging in value from £15,000 up to £750,000
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Retail Fit Out with
- Must have 5+ years estimating experience within the construction fit out / shop fitting market sector
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Full UK driving license
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office & Excel)
- Advantageous if experience in Bluebeam Software
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good team player who also works well individually
