Role Overview:

As a Fire & Security Service and Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing a range of fire and security systems. Your expertise will help ensure the continued reliability and effectiveness of our systems, contributing to the safety and security of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, security alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and servicing of existing systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in fire and security systems, including both physical and software-related issues.
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding their fire and security systems.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with the team to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
  • Relevant qualifications in fire and security systems (e.g., FIA qualifications, relevant NVQs).
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, security alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar role within a reputable fire and security service company.
  • Additional certifications or training related to fire and security systems.
