Our client is a BAFE accredited Health and Safety/ Fire business, renowned for their ethics and commitment to client safety. Due to contract wins the client now requires a skilled Fire Risk Assessor, with sound knowledge of sleeping accommodation and care homes. As a privately owned business with a long standing team, the business can offer further recognised course training, support with accreditations (Tier/IFE/IFSM) and tailored CPD plans for the right candidate. Car allowance, attractive mileage rates and other benefits are available

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Beeston, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield, Coalville, Tamworth, Leicester, Market Harborough, Corby, Melton Mowbray, Matlock, Halesowen, Rugby, Rugley, Cannock, Nuneaton, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Worksop, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Retford.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Long standing experience working as a fire risk assessor.
" Will be degree educated.
" Ideally be registered with the IFE or IFSM. (Client can offer support with this)
" Ideally hold Tier 1-3 registration. (Client can offer support with this)
" Able to meet competence requirements for high-risk premises.
" Competent in the use of MS Office.

The Role:
" Arranging own schedule, typically working three days on site conducting FRA's, with two days in the office/ home working to complete reports.
" Conducting fire risk assessments on care homes, flats, schools, and offices.
" Able to display excellent knowledge of Regulatory Reform, Risk Assessment and BS guidance.
" Producing comprehensive reports based on risk assessment findings; advising on exit strategies, safety improvements and compliance.
" Offer cost effective solutions to clients based around fire safety.
" Delivering training when required.
