Job Brief:

A well-established business based in central Nottingham are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their growing team. As a Customer Service Administrator, you will deliver exceptional service by leveraging your product knowledge and expertise.

Your days will be spent communicating with key customers and personnel via various channels such as email, phone and customer portals. You'll enjoy thinking on your feet and using your initiative to ensure you deliver the very best experience for customers.

Reporting to the Cluster Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with customer queries efficiently in a professional manner ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered at every interaction
  • Taking full ownership of your internal and external customers by effectively managing their expectations
  • Actively seek feedback from customers
  • Logging jobs and arrange engineer call outs
  • Taking ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.
  • Arranging hotel, train, and ferry bookings for engineers and managers
  • Ensuring email inboxes are monitored daily to provide same-day responses
  • Ensuring all calls and tasks are dealt with in a timely manner

Skills Required:

  • Accuracy at record keeping
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Listening skills - to understand exactly what customers require
  • Be able to build strong working relationships (internal/external)
  • Behave in a calm professional and responsible manner

The Customer Service Administrator will have previous experience within a customer service role, ideally within a maintenance/reactive environment. You will also have exceptional communication skills including negotiating and influencing.

In return you will be offered a salary of 24,000 to 25,000 depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with an hour for lunch; this is fully office based. Also, you will be offered 20 days annual leave plus statutory Bank Holidays rising by one day per each year of service up to 25 days.
