Overview

  • GI Pro are recruiting for a CNC Turner Programmer who is experienced in operating, setting and online programming
  • The company creates variety of shopfloor machinery such as milling turning and grinding machines
  • Working a day shift Monday - Friday on a 39-hour working week
  • Paying Up to £17.50/ph depending on experience
  • Overtime is available at 1.5x
  • This is a full-time permanent role with immediate starts

The role:

  • Operating setting and online programming CNC Turning machines (Mazatrol experience is preferred)
  • Must have skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
  • Must have ability to read, interpret and follow mechanical documents and drawings.
  • To work to tight tolerances and check own work
  • To work with minimum supervision, doing low batch work

Candidate attributes

  • You will have experience in operating, setting and programming CNC Turning machines
  • Additional machine experience is beneficial
  • You will have proven track record in working for Precision Engineering company producing bespoke pieces as opposed to batch
