Your new roleHays Education are working with a great primary school based in Nottingham who are looking for a Site Manager. The position will be from Monday to Friday, as a split shift starting from 06:00 to 10:00 and then from 14:30 to 18:00 (17:30pm on Fridays). The role will be to start as soon as possible in either a temporary or permanent capacity.Your responsibilities will include:

  • General grounds and building maintenance
  • Liaising with SLT and other members of staff
  • Ensuring all legal and statutory certification is in place as directed by the law and best practice certification
  • Minor repair work e.g. changing light bulbs
  • Ensuring heating, lighting and alarm systems are working
  • Responsibility of building keys - locking and unlocking as required

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in managing premises or maintenance, ideally is a school
  • Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Be reliable, resilient and hardworking
