Your new companyYou will be joining an established multi-sector contractor working on infrastructure schemes for various high-profile clients. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work across a multitude of sectors, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Construction Manager to join their team.

Your new roleAs Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to managing contracts related to civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Your duties include drafting and negotiating contract terms, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. You will also handle contract changes, such as extensions and variations, and resolve any disputes that arise. Additionally, you will maintain detailed records of all contracts and communications and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have proven successful experience of managing sites within the civils industry and have good working knowledge of NEC3 form of contracts. In addition, you will have strong numeracy and IT skills, and be able to work to deadlines. Finally, you will have sound communication skills and good commercial awareness.
